The standard EN 10208-2 includes three types of states of steel. Except that state NB listed in the table of comparing steels also steels are supplied in the states MB and QB . In the state NB are supplied seamless or welded tubes. Seamless tubes are normalized formed or normalized annealed. A series of steels with min. yield strength (Lxyz NB ): 245, 290, 360, 415 MPa In the state MB are supplied welded tubes. In the state QB are supplied seamless tubes. Seamless tubes are quenched and tempered. A series of steels with min. yield strength (Lxyz QB ): 360,415, 450, 485, 555 MPa The deliveries of tubes according to EN 10208-1,2 from Podbrezová: - normal deliveries according to EN 10208-1 – steels type LxyzGA - steels according to EN 10208-2 – steels type LxyzNB and LxyzMB – deliveries upon agreement only 2. Standard EN from point 1 corresponds to standards API 5L and ISO 3183-1,2. Standard API 5L in the 44 th edition of October 2007 contains,besides the original marking of steels also the marking of steels according to ISO 3183, which is similar to marking according to EN 10208. Informative comparison of steels for hot-rolled or normalized annealed steels see also page 58. API 5L standard includes two level of product – PSL 1 and PSL 2 (Product Specification Level). The levels are different with types of steels and methods of production and testing. Possible combinations of methods of tube production (seamless,welded), steels and level of product are given in table 2 of standard API 5L, 44 th edition.
